Hubby and I decided to get new phones yesterday. So we got a couple of Android phones … and he’s going nuts with the aps. OK, so am I. Dammit.
At some point I know things will settle down, but I’m supposed to be taming the chaos here at home, not playing with the damn phone. 🙄

Ha, Sara and I both got new Droids in February. It was app-city for us–especially for Sara who is gadget happy!

OMG Kathy … some of this stuff is insanely cool. Though at one point hubby commented on how long it took two Aerospace engineers to figure it all out. No, we don’t do manuals or tutorials … maybe that’s the problem. 🙄

LOL! Yeah, we resisted for a long time. Needing to wait until the last contract ran out was part of why we waited … I’m not about to pay $700 for a phone! The games are kind of cool though. 😀

We’re all laughing at hubby … he’s been vehemently against the smart phones for a while. Now he can’t put it down … and apparently is obsessed with Angry Birds. 😆

Mine was exactly the same! Sneering at people he worked with because their face was constantly glued to their phones for one reason or another and now you can’t pry him away from his. And yes, he is also a huge Angry Birder.

I’m assuming you’ve put the phone down by now…hello? Hello? 🙂 Congrats on the phones. The apps can be pretty cool and they’ve at times occupied a ton of my own time. Maybe I need to manage my time better. Isn’t there an app for that?

LOL! I so wish there was an app for managing my time. Though when it comes to gadgets, I think a swift kick in the behind would work best … “Put the phone down and do your laundry!” 😆

That’s why I stick with the prepaid..no apps, internet or games. It’s just a phone. No time wasted.

We did that for years. Unfortunately it gets harder to stay away from the technology upgrades as time goes by. Our carrier forced us to get new phones when they went to the 3G (our phones were that old) and the kids refuse to talk on a phone … they want to text constantly. 🙄 It was just easier to give in at that point.
